Glacier Cable Snow Tire Chains Review - 2006 Honda Ridgeline- Video
Today in our 2006 Honda Ridgeline, we'll be installing and taking a look at the Glacier Cable Snow Tire Chains, part number PW1046. As you can see, this is what our new Glacier tire chain looks like, installed on our Honda. It's constructed with nice, case-hardened, low carbon steel, and the spring rollers are wrapped around a sturdy wire on the cross cables. As you can see, here's the rollers, and that's what actually grips into the snow and ice to give you traction. It's rolled on the outside, so the backside is smooth so it doesn't damage the sidewall of your tire. These are designed for vehicles with a little clearance fender wells. It works great on either the front- or rear-wheel drive vehicles, and the low profile gives you a nice smooth ride. more
